Iranian director Mikaeel Shahrestani has sent Tennessee Williams’ ‘The Glass Menagerie’ on stage at Tehran’s Theater House.
The play ‘The Glass Menagerie’, produced in 1944, tells the story of a young man who reluctantly supports a family that his father has abandoned.
He has a painfully shy and faintly crippled sister whose preoccupation with a collection of glass animals draws her away from reality.
Struggling with depression, his family has to deal with the past, the future, and one another.
